At Prime, we’re focused on catalyzing systemic change to achieve both climate change mitigation and adaptation goals, while also addressing existing disparities in human thriving. The climate crisis is a result of complex interactions within socio-technical or nature-based systems, and as such, climate solutions can’t live in silos. Prime’s journey to define our impact priorities is unfolding in three phases: first, identify high-potential systems and geographies for impact through data-driven analysis; second, engage with “backbone” organizations on-the-ground to map the interconnected activities required for transformation; and third, define how Prime can deploy catalytic capital to address capital gaps and coordinate with other actors to work in synergy and accelerate change
