This report captures data and insights from interactions with users since CRANE’s release in April 2020. CRANE is an online tool that makes GHG impact assessment of early-stage companies less labor-intensive, more data-driven, and more standardized. We hope to make it easier for investors, grantors, and entrepreneurs to incorporate climate impact into their decision-making. The project is being supported by The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, NYSERDA, and Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
