Amy Duffuor Featured in ESG Investor’s Article on the Venture Climate Alliance (VCA)

The newly formed Venture Climate Alliance (VCA), comprising 23 venture capital firms across the US and Europe, aims to bridge the gap between public and private markets on climate-related disclosures. Additionally, the VCA plans to develop resources and guidance to help align early-stage investments with the goal of achieving net zero emissions. The goal is to establish a methodology for measuring climate impact within the venture capital industry. General Partner of Azolla Ventures and VCA Founding Member, Amy Duffuor, discussed how the VCA will identify a common methodology with Prime Coalition's Project Frame

“This is the first time that venture capital firms, regardless of sector focus, are coming together to say we collectively need to address our emissions from portfolio companies and firm operations,” [Amy] Duffuor told ESG Investor.

“The VCA’s aim is to actively support our portfolio companies along their net zero transition pathways and provide a common methodology that lays the foundation for standardization across the climate tech investing landscape.”
