Typically used at Prime to refer to a product or service that has the potential to directly or indirectly reduce future emissions (e.g. zero-carbon electricity or materials) or remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere (e.g. ocean sequestration or direct air capture).
However, a broader range of solutions, including those advancing climate adaptation and resilience, are also necessary to address the causes and effects of climate change. As our strategy evolves to include these types of solutions, our definition will evolve too.
